Wall, shield and ball despawn timers, missile damage
'ey.
Did some testing today.
Ball timer
Ball will die after 13 seconds of flight.
To put that into comparison in ball_cave, if you are a loopy, on left team and crash the ball into the rightmost corner, you have time to:
-spawn
-get to the ball using nonstop afterburner and shortest possible route below the rock on middle
-have about 2-3 seconds before the ball despawns
Shield
The shield lasts about 2,85 seconds (average of what I got with my equipment)
The shield has 2 different animations where some of the arches are either lit up or dim. For arguments sake, let's call one cycle (on-off) as one tick. One tick lasts about 0.31 seconds.
I'm fairly sure that the shield lasts for 9 ticks. The sound which it makes when you use the item takes about 1 tick. So, if you hear someone popping a shield, it will be active for 8 more ticks.
The shield will start to fade after the 9th tick. I haven't tested whether it'll still reflect projectiles while fading or not.
Wall
The wall lasts about 5,0 seconds.
I'm not fully sure about how many animations walls have. It might be 2 or more.
Regardless of that, if you use the same measure of time as with shields (ticks), the wall lasts for 16 ticks. It starts to collapse after 16th tick, don't know whether it'll damage after that.
Missile
Did brief testing with missiles. I had a 0 bar plane shoot a missile at another 0 bar plane with full hp.
Loopy with HA, missile took away about 50% of the hp.
Miranda with HA, missile took away about 50% of the hp.
Biplane with flexy, missile took away about 45% of the hp.
Bomber with repair, missile took away about 43,33% of the hp.
Explodet with flexy, missile took away about 41,67% of the hp.
Values are rough estimates

How do you know the exact amount of damage the missile dealt :O?

I don't.
What I did was I zoomed the screenshot enough so that I could roughly estimate the missing bit.
With a ruler.
On my screen.
